Finance to freedom
CFA charterholder. CRISIL rating analyst. Led remote investment research teams at Market Realist from anywhere in the world. In 2014 he took a remote job for an American startup and never looked back — travel, culture, and the question: why can't India be a hub for this life? NomadGao is the answer he borrowed money to start.
NomadGao
Saw the Assagao property on 25 July 2019. Called friends, borrowed, opened 1 August — with partner Joy, built a tiny home from scratch and India's first rural coworking-coliving community. Today: scenic spaces in Goa and Dharamkot for digital nomads, freelancers, startups, and remote teams. Shahzada joined as community member and became co-founding host. Mission: make India popular globally and enable a million Indians to work nomadically.

The bet
Work is not a place. Office is not a productivity catalyst. Mayur's bet: remote work can transform India — happier people, less congestion, innovation in towns and villages — if we build the infrastructure and community to do it right. Not a fantasy. A possibility within reach.
